Tendinitis You Devil
Today I was scheduled to run 20 miles according to my cowtown training schedule. However, since my tendinitis injury over a week, I was a little worried. The most I ran was 6 miles pain free and thought I could do this today. I decided to try some hill work. Well, that was a stupid idea! Sure enough, I was only able to do 10.94 miles and forced to walk at 7.34 miles! There were times I had to just stop cause it was painful to just walk. I saw a friend running and she stopped to ask if I was okay. She must if seen the pain written all over my face and of course I just cried and quickly explained what just happened cause wanted her to continue her run. It was the longest, cold and painful walk ever. I'm so frustrated, but maybe this is happening to me for a reason? I may not be able to run that marathon after all. I will schedule appointment with my foot doctor next week.
