Run in Switzerland

I never knew how beautiful Switzerland would be. Yes, I've seen photos online and in magazines, but seeing it live is 10 times better! We stopped at several towns, but I will tell you about Gimmewald. Everywhere you look, there is something that is breathtaking. As soon as we got here it seemed like the air smelled fresher up here. You could hear the cow bells at a distance and see them up in the mountains and goats too. The towns in the valley are small and life here seems so peaceful. Everything is so green and the flowers are bright and pretty on the windows of all homes. All homes are made out of wood and most have there own garden. There are maybe 30 homes here and hardly any vechicles. I guess the crime rate is low or close to none cause they have a store called the "The Honesty Store" where people just go in and buy what they need by leaving money in an envelope and writing down the items you take. What?? Yes, I know what you are thinking, that would never happen in our country!

There are great hiking trails everywhere. Running in the Swiss Alps is a huge check off my bucket list. I ran from one town to another and went up a crazy incline (2 miles up), but the view was amazing. I did it twice while here and the first time it was more of a run, walk and crawl, but worth the hurt. Run slow, but non-stop my second time. Running by waterfalls, hearing birds and cowbells was music to my ears! Running in the Switzerland Alps is something I'll always treasure!
