Last Double Digit Run

I completed my last double digit (12 miles) run yesterday in my hometown.  The next one I do will be in Boston when I run the marathon!  Getting excited and my goal this year is to just do better than last year when I ran.  I know that I probably will not get a PR for this is a tough course.  The good thing is  I already know what to expect and know where the tough hills come.  I know now that it starts down hill for a couple of miles and must force my self to go slow.  Last year I took off way to fast and it ended up kicking my booty half way through.  I just hope and pray for good cool weather and no rain.  Last year it was hot and that also kicked my butt.  This year will be better because I am injury free and in better shape.  For the past month I have really been focusing on eating clean and working on strength training.  I hope that helps me when I run.  I know that the last 20 mile I ran my time was a lot better than the last one and didn't feel that fatigued afterwards.  So, I hope it pays off this time around.  I ran my 12 mile run at 7:49 pace according to my Garmin.  The good thing about that is that it didn't even seem like I was going that fast.  I've worked on hills a lot more too, but I'm sure I'll still struggle at that crazy Heart Break Hill!  Regardless, ready to do this!
