Needless to say, Dash and I are back to running again. We do have to stop for more water breaks though, but always ready to go again. She's just like me, and eager to start fast, but that doesn't last long when we run in warmer temps. I don't push her ever and always listen to our bodies.
Father's Day came and ran a 5K with Dash in honor of my dad. Hard to believe that he's been gone 13 years. I feel like he is with me in all my runs and it gives me peace. We had a huge storm after mass and going to see dad at the cemetary. It didn't last long and all my family came over for a cookout at our house. My nutrition got off track celebrating with my family. They requested I make some of my famous banana pudding and I can't make that and not have some :) Yes, I have to admit, it's pretty good!
It's Monday and we have 3 weeks before our anniversary trip to Amsterdam and it's time to get back on track! Time to get shredded and sculpted :) Keep on running!
