I can't believe that school is finally out and finally able to get back to my normal routine again. A stress free life with getting my nutrition back on track, sleeping more and working out to get ready for vacation coming up on July. The weather is starting to get warmer outside during the mornings. I have to wake up early to beat the heat, but the good thing is that since I'm not training for marathon right now, I just run to maintain. I don't want to have to start over once I do start training for my fall marathon, so I run about 20 miles a week. The marathon I decided to register for this fall is the Route 66 Marathon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It's the week before Thanksgiving. That's about the time we do our family getaway with Eddie and go hunting with him. We'll be able to do both since we'll be in Oklahoma already :).
June is my birthday month. Blessed for another year of life. I had to go to a school conference in Austin and ended up celebrating my birthday with my co-workers and boss. It was nice to celebrate with friends and catch up with them. We stayed in a fancy part of Austin with lot of shops all around. They even had my favorite store Zara there and of course had to buy me something for my birthday...lol! I packed my running shoes and ran on the treadmill when it rained and ran outside once.
Once I got back home, Dash and I got back to running again. I do have to stop more for water breaks during our runs and it's okay. It's countdown time to get strong and shredded for vacation. Eddie wants me to do KETO with him, but I'll do more of a Paleo diet. Although, I don't believe in diets. I'll will cut sugar and high carbs until July 5th! Let's do this!
