Fredericksburg Texas Half Marathon

What a fun girls weekend Zooma Run in Fredericksburg, TX.  I helped Becca train for her first 10K and she ran it without stopping!  This was a super hilly course too!  Jessica reached her goal of under 2 hours for her half marathon.  I got first place in my age group and 5th place over 323 females!  Feels good to see this old lady can still kick itπŸ˜†.  We all did better than anticipated.  It was super cold at 35 degrees and we were worried about those crazy hills.  Way to finish strong ladies πŸ™ŒπŸ’ͺ!  It’s amazing what changing your mindset can do to your overall run. You just got to believe that you can do it and do your best.  And once you see and cross that finish line... it’s the best feeling.  It’s that feeling of accomplishment that you did it and no one can take that away from you.  It was your hard work and training that got you there.  Looking forward to running a fun local run at least once a month.   Training seems to help me keep those extra calories off with the holiday season upon us. I know we tend to eat a little on the unhealthy side during this time. That's why it’s the best time to run/walk and work on your fitness throughout the holiday season.  Set a goal and schedule time for some selfcare to relieve some stress the healthy way.  Keep on running πŸƒ.
