Noah loves his Wele.
This just may be the best year yet! My new job is going great and the staff have all been very nice and welcoming to me. The traffic isn't bad at all going/coming from work and the best part is the sun isn't in my face either way too :)!! I'm having to go to a lot of trainings to learn the way they run things at this new district. It's all good and even at district, they are super nice to me. Secondary students are so different than my elementary kiddos, but really feel like I can make an impact with them. I can talk to them more like young adults and try to be a good role model to them, because honestly, some of the students don't have that at home. I'm going to be the Testing Coordinator again, but they way they do things at the district level is making my life less stressful with the systems they use. That makes me so very happy! I know it's going to be great working here!
As for my recovery from my medical procedure. I have one more week before I can go run and workout again. My buddies at LA Fitness have been texting me to see how my recovery is going and miss me teaching their cycle class. They have no idea, how much I miss them! These six weeks have been driving me a little stir crazy, but how I take care of my body during this time will be worth it in the long run. So that's very important to me. It will finish just in time for me to start training for my Big Sur Marathon. It will be twelve weeks of training for my spring marathon coming up in April. It will be like starting over, but I will take it easy and listen to my body. I'm super excited about it and can't wait. It'll be a girl's trip weekend with friends. I have a post-op appointment coming up on Friday and just pray everything is okay.
Dash is also going stir crazy and really miss running her. However, Eddie and Noah have taking her on walks. I can't wait to run with my running buddy again. This month was a time for family and catching up with my friends. Oh...how I needed that. Sometimes, you get so caught off with busy work and running all over the place, that you forget what matter most important to you. For me, that is my family and friends. Take time this year, put it in our calendar if you have to, but cherish those precious moments that you'll alway remember when you are an old lady. Take care of you!
Yes, 2020 is off to a great start :)
