Momma says goodbye. Daddy in background.
On the way back we stopped in Louisiana to stay the night with Eddie's cousin Debbie. I was surprised that Dash slept between Eddie and I and slept all night. She's such a good pup! She is like our baby girl we never had! We are so attached to her already. I'm so in love with her too! On the way home, her and Noah slept most of the way home. When we would gas up, she would take care of her business. She's so smart cause she whines when she need to potty.
We got home Saturday and introduced her to our Jack Russel, Rascal. That was funny and got a feeling she is going to be more energetic than him. She just wanted to play with him. I can't wait to run with her!
Needless to say, I didn't run my last 20 miler Saturday. I taught cycle class today and ran what my body could handle after class which was 17 miles. I ran it nice and easy at 8:38 pace working on hills.
My left knee started feeling a little sore so I may back down to 4 days of running instead of 5 to see if it goes away. Cowtown Marathon is 2 weeks away!
